The Alert App pairs up with Embrace smartband and sends your chosen caregivers an automated SMS and phone call when Embrace detects unusual patterns that may be associated to a convulsive seizure.The Alert App requires a dedicated smartphone with Bluetooth connectivity, and is available with a subscription plan.

"Got this for our 13 year old (Also Autistic and ID) that started having tonic clonic seizures in his sleep. Added this to a baby monitor for his room, but noticed the connection was being dropped intermittently throughout the night even though the phone was less than 10 ft from him and nothing was blocking the watch. Even saw it turning red during the day when it was right next to him. They should also consider caregivers of those with intelligencual disabilities may need a app to help monitor"

"This is a great app and device for people with convulsive seizures. It's helped someone be there for almost all my seizures. However when my connection drops or I'd I switch from my garage wifi to my house wifi I have to force close the app to get my embrace 2 to connect back to the app. I've been doing this for 2 years now hoping there would be some update to fix this issue. I had the app first on my galaxy s9 I figured it was my phones problem but now I have a galaxy s20 and it's the same."
